(hereinafter – the Company) takes care of the protection of information about you.

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016) and other legislation protecting the information that we collect, use and store within the Company.

Whenever you place an order for food via our website www.ilunch.lv or other online channels (hereinafter collectively – the Website), you entrust the Company with your personal data and grant us the right to process it within the scope, by the means and for the purposes provided for in this Privacy Policy (the Policy) and in the Terms and Conditions for the Purchase and Sale of Services (the Rules). Please note that both the Policy and the Rules may be amended, supplemented and updated from time to time.

Personal data includes any information that can be used to identify an individual, as well as any information relating to an already identified individual.

The Company respects your privacy, and the security of your personal data is our priority. We apply appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure that your personal data is always secure and that data processing operations comply with data protection legislation and the Company’s internal procedures.

The Company collects and processes your personal data listed in this Policy on the following legal grounds:

2. Authentication with social networks

Registration and login data:

  • e-mail address and password, which we securely encrypt and cannot see;

  • Facebook ID, if you connect to your account through Facebook.

Technical/administrative data necessary to ensure the functioning and security of the account:

  • user ID;

  • account status (active, blocked, etc.);

  • IP address;

  • technical data relating to logins to the account and actions performed within the account.

Other information:

  • confirmation that you have read and accepted the Terms of Use of ilunch.lv and/or this Privacy Policy, including the date and time of such acknowledgement.

This data is:

  • collected from you when you register on ilunch.lv and create your account;

  • automatically generated or recorded (including with cookies and similar technologies) when you register, log in or use your account.

3. Rules for newsletter subscribers’ promotions and special offers

  • All promotions are valid only for genuine (non-spam) e-mail addresses.

  • Discount codes or gift cards may only be used by the recipient, who must provide proof (e.g., a copy of the e-mail or transaction).

  • Discounts cannot be combined during promotions and special offers.

  • Any comments or complaints may be submitted by e-mail to info@ilunch.lv. The review period for complaints is 14 days.

  • Participants or gift card purchasers agree that their personal data will be processed for order fulfilment purposes.

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these rules.

4. What data do we process and why?

4.1. Basic data (identification and contact details)

Data categories:

  • name and surname;

  • e-mail address;

  • telephone number;

  • residential/delivery address;

  • IP address.

Legal grounds for data processing:

  • your consent to use the Services under the terms and conditions stipulated in this Policy and/or the Rules;

  • performance of a contract (e.g., when we process your data to fulfil your order);

  • compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, tax).

Data processing period:

  • for the entire period during which you use the Services;

  • we may store your consent and evidence of it for a longer period if necessary for defence against claims.

Purposes of using your basic data:

  • to communicate with you, respond to your requests and comments;

  • to provide you with important information about the Services, their provision and any changes to this Policy;

  • to contact you if you have not collected your order or if we have encountered issues with a transaction.

It is very important to ensure that the data you provide is accurate and correct. If you provide incorrect or incomplete data or fail to update it, this may make it difficult for us to provide the Services properly and may affect your ability to exercise your rights. The Company will not be liable for any damage caused due to the provision of incorrect or incomplete data.

If your data changes, you must inform us immediately by updating the relevant information in the registration form on www.ilunch.lv or in the mobile application.

5. Processing of your purchase data

5.1. Purchase Data

In addition to your registration data, we also process data about your purchase transactions (hereinafter – the Purchase Data) for the purpose of providing you with the Services and various benefits, concluding and performing purchase and sale agreements, making refunds, granting discounts, etc.

Data categories:

  • name and surname;

  • e-mail address, telephone number;

  • delivery and residential addresses;

  • date and time of purchase and delivery;

  • product names, quantities, purchase prices and discounts granted;

  • payment method used and payment information.

Additional data that may be collected:

  • for product delivery: name, surname, address, e-mail address, phone number;

  • for job offers: name, surname, e-mail address, CV.

Legal grounds for data processing:

  • performance of the purchase and sale agreement;

  • your consent to use your account under the conditions specified in the Rules;

  • compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting and tax laws).

Data processing term:

  • 5 years from the date of the purchase transaction (or longer if required by applicable law);

  • after this period, we delete the Purchase Data or reliably anonymise it by irreversibly detaching it from your basic data and other information that could identify you.

Personal data of Website visitors and buyers is transferred to third parties only to the extent necessary to fulfil their duties and ensure legitimate interests (e.g., courier companies, payment service providers).

6. Provision of offers and information (newsletter, marketing)

If you agreed to receive offers and news when completing the registration form or in your account settings, we process your personal data to:

  • send newsletters;

  • provide information about our and our partners’ offers, discounts, promotions and sales;

  • invite you to participate in promotional campaigns, contests and games;

  • ask for your opinion about our services and products.

Data processing term:
as long as your consent to receive offers and news is in effect;
we may retain proof of consent for longer if required for legal defence.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or adjusting your preferences in your account.

7. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, requests and feedback

We use your personal data to respond to your inquiries, complaints and requests and to administer your feedback (hereinafter – the Inquiry).

Data categories:

  • identification and contact information: name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, residential address, date of birth (if provided);

  • content of the Inquiry: description of the situation, circumstances, date and place, your request, claim or feedback, order number, loyalty card number (if applicable), any other information you provide;

  • documents and/or data submitted with the Inquiry (e.g., purchase receipts, photos);

  • recordings of telephone calls if you contact our customer service helpline.

Legal grounds:

  • performance of our legal obligations to examine and respond to user inquiries;

  • our legitimate interest in evaluating customer feedback and improving the quality of our services.

Data processing term:
We process your data for up to 12 months from the date of receipt of the Inquiry, or longer where required by law or necessary for defence against claims.
